About Union Yoga &
Physical Therapy

Hi friends!  My name is Dr. Danielle A. Rose. Please feel free to call me Danielle.  I am a Physical Therapist, Yoga teacher, recreational aerialist, world traveler and (if I do say so, myself) a darn good baker.  I am the owner/founder of Union Yoga & Physical Therapy and I am so pleased to become your go-to PT in the Annandale/Fairfax region.  I have a new home office in Annandale; just off of 495/Little River Tpk and am excited to become a part of your “village” that helps you back to wellness.  Namaste

My official bio is below:

Danielle A. Rose, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, PRPC earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University.  After a 10-year government career, she decided to make a life change and become a physical therapist and hasn’t looked back since.

Danielle considers herself a ‘spine first’ physical therapist, starting centrally before looking elsewhere.  Though she tends to work functionally through the McKenzie Method® and with general strengthening, she loves to integrate less tangible techniques such as Upledger’s Craniosacral and Barral’s visceral work.

In addition to the above, Danielle is certified in Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore.  She currently treats all orthopedic injuries but specializes in both spinal and pelvic floor problems.

Danielle is happy to treat all people in a  "double digit" age range.  She has treated injured kids returning to sport all the way to up to nonagenarians (sheesh...say that 3 times fast).

Danielle is currently certified in the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) and has her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through The Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

In addition to working as a physical therapist, Danielle is a Registered Yoga Teacher as well as a Spin instructor.  In her spare time, she loves to read, bake and take trapeze lessons.
